Question

What do I need to know about Cyprus?

Answer

Cyprus is a member of the EU so you do not need a visa to travel there if you are flying with a UK or EU passport. The official languages of the island are Greek and Turkish but English is widely spoken. The currency used is the euro and although cards and contactless payments are widely accepted, we recommend having some cash on you for local taxis. A G 3-pin plug is used, which is the same as the UK, so you will not need a power adapter.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The climate in Cyprus is usually warm in October, reaching around 25 degrees during the day and dropping to around 17 degrees in the evening.
