Sanford has a story to tell, and Friday night you’ll get a taste of it. Once known as the “Celery Capital of the World,” today it’s buzzing with charm! From cobblestone streets and historic storefronts to art-filled corners, cozy cafés, neighborhood breweries, and some of our favorite restaurants. We’ll wander together, stopping at a few of the places that make this city so special. It’s part walking tour, part night out, and all about sharing the charm of the city we call home. Wondering what to wear? Stylish but comfortable is the way to go — cobblestones and cocktails don’t mix with stilettos.

On Saturday, we’d love for you to join us at one of Sanford’s most unique and beloved traditions — Sanford Porchfest! Porchfest is a free, grassroots music festival where neighbors turn their front porches into stages and local musicians fill the streets with live music all day long. Its mission is simple: to spread joy through music, support local artists, and build community spirit. You’ll find dozens of bands performing everything from folk and blues to rock and funk, with food trucks, art, and plenty of space to wander or set up a blanket and stay awhile. It’s one of Sanford’s most famous events, and we can’t wait to experience it with you. Bring comfy shoes, a chair or blanket if you’d like, and be ready to stroll, dance, and discover music around every corner.

Our wedding will be cocktail attire—think cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets with slacks. If you’d like to coordinate with our color palette, our wedding colors are Merlot & Moss. Color inspiration includes deep burgundy, blush pink, light olive, and moss green—but most importantly, wear something you feel confident and comfortable in.
Please join us for our ceremony in the garden, followed by cocktail hour. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 3:00 PM to allow time for seating and welcome drinks. Light bites will be passed before moving inside for dinner.

Enjoy dinner, an open bar with wine, beer, and cocktails, and plenty of dancing as we celebrate into the night.
