Here’s to forever. We’re tying the knot!

We first crossed paths on Bumble, where I (naturally) had to make the first move. His response? An inappropriate joke I won’t repeat here, but it definitely caught my attention—way more original than the typical lines you get on dating apps. It was funny and unexpected, and that pretty much set the tone for us. Our first date was on December 7th at a Blue Jackets hockey game, and the rest is history. We made it official on February 6, 2022, and said "I love you" not long after on February 27. Now, we share our home with two cats: Skinner (named after a character from The Simpsons) and Arya (named after Arya Stark from Game of Thrones). They’ve been part of our family ever since. As we prepare for our big day, we can hardly contain our excitement! I’ve immediately overwhelmed him with how much I’ve already planned, but he’s been such a good sport about it. I still can’t believe I’m agreeing to share a home for the rest of my life with someone who has way too many Star Wars and WWE figures. But honestly, I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else. Here’s to a lifetime filled with laughter, love, and countless adventures together!
