Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is the second oldest zoo in the U.S., opening in 1875, and is famous for its conservation efforts, being the home of Fiona the hippo, and being the final resting place for Martha, the last passenger pigeon. It's a leader in endangered species breeding, recognized globally for animal conservation, and is also a botanical garden featuring thousands of plant species. A wonderful outdoor experience!
