What is the attire for the welcome party?

Answer

We suggest dressy casual for the welcome party, but please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in! (Yes, jeans are fine).

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

The wedding dress-code will be semi-formal. If you would like to avoid matching the wedding party, the bridesmaids will be wearing sage ;)

Is the venue close to the beach?

Answer

Sorry! We're getting married a bit inland. Carlsbad is a short 30-40 minute drive west. If you're in need of some fresh sea air, we recommend taking a stroll around Carlsbad Village.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you're flying in from out of town, you may prefer to rent a car. Our venue is about a 50 minute drive from San Diego International Airport. If you are staying near the venue but would like to get out and explore, it may be easiest to rent a car. However, ubers and rideshares should be readily available near your hotels.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue has plenty of parking and a valet onsite. If you plan to drink, please do not drive and take an uber or rideshare instead. We will have shuttles reserved to take you to and from the ceremony to a couple of the nearby hotels (Details to come)!

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

We have opted for an adults-only wedding. However, if you are traveling and bringing your little ones to San Diego, we invite you to bring them to the Welcome Party on Friday night (see details under the "Schedule" page)!
