We decided to go to Whistler BC for our 10 year anniversary in October . We had a rocky start to the trip, toured Vancouver, then went north to our adorable hotel in Whistler for a couple days, after, we snuck into the hot springs resort at the end of our trip for a not so hot dip in the springs with about 1000 other people lol . That evening after a hallelujah Mexican restaurant with great food and decompression, we went back to our hotel where I opted to shower while Ben “went to the gym” When I came out of the bathroom , there were flower petals all over the room, Olivia sitting with a blue jewelry bag on the bed. Right there, in a small town an hour north of the border, Ben proposed, I cried, lol it was a thing. Totally caught me by surprise, I didn’t even know this was something he was considering. He manages to surprise me, even after 10 years.
