we're getting married!

We have know each other since May of 2019, but did not start dating until November 2022. It started with Scott asking Lauren to pet-sit for him while he was on vacation, and it turned into watching movies together, and eventually dating. Our 1st date was on November 10, 2022 where we went to Joe's Farm Grill and later to Main Event to bowl. It was quite a competitive game to see who could bowl the lowest score. Obviously, Scott was winning with the lowest score because due to an error in the system the gutter bumpers kept coming up on Lauren's turns. It was a great first date full of laughs and meaningful conversations that left is both feeling excited about what might come next. On May 23, 2024, after watching a movie at home, we were both sitting on the couch when Scott slipped the ring onto Lauren's finger. It was a heart stopping moment for Lauren when she came to the realization of what was placed on her finger. Without hesitation it was a "yes" before Scott could finish his full sentence.
