Lake Willoughby North Beach
A beautiful public beach on Lake Willoughby! Great for swimming and laying on the sand. There is also a basketball court next to the parking lot.
Mount Pisgah Trail Hike
A three hour , 4.1 mile hike up beautiful Mount Pisgah. Moderate Difficulty. Gorgeous trail with lookouts over the lake!
Devil's Rock
A popular jumping/diving spot into the lake located on the Mount Pisgah side of the lake at a less than halfway point from the lake's southern beach. It takes its name from a painted image of a devil on the front of the rock facing out toward the lake There's no address for this location, so if you're interested, talk to one of the Harrison's who will be happy to show you!
Canoe/Kayak Rentals
East Burke Sports- Rents canoes and kayaks for $30 for a full day (starting at 9am) or $20 for a half day (starting at 1pm). Call 802-626-3215.
Fishing in Lake Willoughby
Lake Willoughby contains rainbow trout (wild and stocked), Lake Trout, landlocked Atlantic salmon (mainly stocked), rainbow smelt, burbot, yellow perch, longnose sucker, white sucker, lake chub, common shiner, and round whitefish. The Evansville Store offers all that is needed to get you out fishing, including Vermont licenses - the cost for adults (18+ yrs) is $22.00 for residents and $45.00 for non-residents; youths (15-17 yrs) are $8.00 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Children younger than 15 years fish for free. Fishing licenses may also be purchased online through the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department.
