Harrison and Tishana first met in December 2014 in the library at Stony Brook University during finals week. One of their mutual friends introduced them briefly, but they ended up becoming more friendly and familiar the following semester when Tishana joined the Stony Brook Gospel Choir, which Harrison was already a part of. They had a similar sense of style and would sometimes unintentionally match their outfits, so they often greeted each other with compliments. They also had similar taste in and passion for music; he was a drummer and trumpet player, and she was a singer and songwriter. They exchanged phone numbers, bonded deeply over music and humor, and eventually found themselves enamored with one another. A few months later, Harrison asked her to the senior ball at the Watermill in Smithtown, NY...which, by no coincidence, is exactly where these college sweethearts have decided to exchange their wedding vows 8 years later. Their love story goes to show that “music is the strongest form of magic".
