It all began in a pre-calculus class at Angelo State University. Harrison swears it was love at first sight the moment he saw Megan. Megan, on the other hand, still isn’t entirely convinced he was ever actually in that class. Too nervous to strike up a conversation, Harrison let the moment pass, but fate wasn’t done with them yet. After changing his major to geology, their paths crossed again. This time, Harrison wasn’t going to miss his chance… sort of. He started showing up to every geology club meeting, not for the rocks, but just to catch a glimpse of her smile. It wasn’t until he started getting involved in student organizations that he finally worked up the courage to speak to her. And after months (and months) of pep talks and plotting, he asked Megan out by asking what she was doing on Thursday night. Her response? “I don’t think I have much going on I’ll probably just be doing laundry or something” in her mind leaving the door wide open. Harrison, ever respectful, took that as a “no” and waited another three months before trying again. Thankfully, the second time was the charm. That first date sparked something special that’s grown stronger with every year, every laugh, and every adventure. Seven years, countless memories, and one very patient proposal later, here we are, ready to say “I do.”
