Yes, we strongly recommend renting a car. The countryside in Umbria is beautiful but rural, and having a car will make it much easier to get to the venue, explore nearby towns, and enjoy the region.
We highly recommend staying at Boutique Hotel Masolino or Rastrello in the heart of Panicale to ensure you are within easy walking distance of welcome party and the shuttle pickup location to and from the venue the day of the wedding. The town is small and we highly encourage our guests to book accommodation ASAP!
