Having both attended the University of Colorado Boulder, Harrison and Emma did not think much of meeting with college friends before a Quinn XCII concert in 2018. They had not previously met and friends say it was apparent they had an immediate connection when he walked in the door. "Instant chemistry" is an understatement. Within days they were planning a return visit to Orange County for Emma and Harrison's visit to Colorado after that. By that summer, they had packed up Emma’s Denver apartment and were en route home to California, together, for good.
