Megan and Landon had always known who each other were ever since they ran cross country together in junior high but were never in the same circle of friends. Landon graduated high school and went to play baseball in Warner, Oklahoma and a year later, Megan graduated high school and moved to Baylor University. They were both at home for the summer when Landon decided to message Megan out of the blue. That's where the connection started. They became friendly over the summer but when school started back in the fall, they stopped talking to one another. Little did they know that a little over one more year later, Landon would again decide to randomly message Megan. After one month of reconnecting, Landon asked Megan to make the five-hour drive from Waco to Warner, and to his surprise she said yes! Since that fateful October day, they have been (virtually) inseparable. A month and a couple more weekend visits later, Landon asked Megan to officially start dating and she said yes again! This was the real start of a series of long drives and tearful departures for the next six months while Landon finished playing at Connors State. The following summer was a relief from the distance, but Landon would then attend Southern Arkansas University to continue his baseball career and still be five hours from Waco, where Megan was finishing her degree at Baylor one year early. The long drives were now to Magnolia, Arkansas where Megan and Landon could really start to picture what the future would look like. After another seven months, Landon would take Megan to church one Sunday and afterward head to Shreveport, Louisiana to spend the rest of the day before Megan had to leave. However, he made one unexpected stop at Lake Bistineau, a Louisiana state park that Megan had mentioned wanting to visit for its beautiful cypress trees and Spanish moss. That was where he proposed and she said yes for the third time! A total of one year and four months will pass since that day in February before we all join together to celebrate their next and biggest milestone yet, the wedding! Megan graduated in May and they spent another summer together at home. Megan got a job and an apartment in Magnolia to be close to Landon and that’s where they will be for the next few years for Landon to finish school. Then they will see where God takes them!
