Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is BLACK TIE OPTIONAL. Ladies: Formal cocktail attire is appropriate (long dresses/fancy cocktail dresses/dressy jumpsuits preferred). Gentlemen: Black tie is appropriate (tuxedos/dark suits and ties preferred)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Doors Open at 4pm, Ceremony starts at 4:30pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you were permitted a plus one, it would be indicated on your invitation envelope. No other last-minute guests will be allowed.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we really love your children, we want the parents to be able to enjoy themselves, so we will remain kid-free for the night.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please check under the Travel section for our group rooms at the Residence Inn in Downtown Hartford. Please make sure the code is applied for the discount!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot directly next to the venue. You will be given a parking voucher as you enter the event. If you are staying at the hotel, you can also park in their lot. Additional parking can be found at Church Street Garage (200 Church St) and Morgan Street Garage (154 Talcott St).

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When you RSVP, you can disclose any food allergies or sensitivities.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel is almost directly across the street from the venue so transportation is not needed.
