Flight

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

LaGuardia provides the shortest commute by car to the hotels we have recommended, with an estimated fare of $45-55 for UberX or a yellow cab. The travel time should be about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Only take a taxi or an Uber from a designated taxi stand or Uber/Lyft pick up area; avoid anyone who approaches you offering a ride. Public transit options from LaGuardia are not ideal, but it is possible to get to our recommended hotels by a combination of bus and subway. Take the M60 bus to the 2/3 subway stop at 125th street in Harlem, then take the 2 or 3 subway downtown to Wall Street station.

Flight

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

JFK has a flat rate taxi fare of $52 (before tip) into Manhattan, while an UberX would cost an estimated $60-70. Expect the drive to take approximately 50-55 minutes. Only take a taxi or an Uber from a designated taxi stand or Uber/Lyft pick up area; avoid anyone who approaches you offering a ride. You can also reach our recommended hotels by taking JFK's AirTrain to one of two subway stations. The first option is to take the AirTrain's green line to Howard Beach Station, where you will transfer to the Manhattan bound A train, from which you will get off at Fulton Street Station. The second option is to take the AirTrain's red line to Jamaica Station, where you will then walk to the Sutphin Blvd station of the J train, taking a Manhattan bound train to the Broad Street stop. Expect either train route to take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Flight

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Newark Airport is about 35-50 minutes from our recommended hotels by car, with an estimated fare of $45-65 for a taxi or an UberX. There are several public transit options, including the New Jersey Transit trains going into Penn Station, as well as some bus lines that will take you to the PATH train from Jersey City into lower Manhattan. Due to the variety of options, with varying schedules and start/end times, we don't have any blanket recommendations for the best route from EWR. If you are planning to fly into this airport, we recommend you research a route ahead of time based on your specific arrival details.
