We met through a mutual friend and hit it off instantly. We knew right away that we were meant for each other. We spent nearly every day together and could not get enough of each other's company.
On the second anniversary of the day Ethan gave me my promise ring, he took me to lunch to get a free burger for my birthday. I thought nothing of it, although I knew eventually a proposal was coming. He asked me to marry him and took me to Jared to trade in my promise ring for my new beautiful engagement ring that we picked out together.
Every year for our anniversary, we would go to Frankenmuth for a few days to explore and enjoy each other’s company. It was never a big expensive trip, just something small that meant a little bit more quality time together to get a break from our busy lives.
No one ever saw the day that I would date a country boy and live on a farm. Our worlds collided in the best way possible. I went from a city girl to a girl who doesn’t mind getting a little (okay, maybe very) dirty. We were able to share what we loved about our lives and create an even better one together.
