You’d think after going to the same middle and high school, we might’ve crossed paths at least once. But It wasn’t until a college party in 2017 that we finally met. We chatted, laughed, and exchanged numbers. What really sealed the deal? Emily stole and shamelessly drank Ryan’s Cookout milkshake. Ryan never stood a chance! Our first date was on Valentine’s Day 2018 over an Italian dinner, and a few weeks later we were off on spring break together. The rest is history! Being together has always felt easy and fun, like we have known each other for a lifetime. Now, eight years, countless memories, two fur babies and one stolen milkshake later... we’re getting married! We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our friends and family.

On July 26th, 2025, Ryan pulled off the impossible. He surprised me, Emily, arguably the hardest person on earth to surprise. With the secret help of my best friends and family, he created a moment I’ll never forget. That Saturday, I thought Ryan was off playing softball all day. I was also under the impression that my parents and brother had weekend plans. I believed I was heading to Big Door Vineyard for wine night with the girls! As we walked up to the vineyard, there Ryan was waiting for me. My heart skipped a beat, and excitement flooded through me. What followed was the most beautiful summer evening, filled with love, laughter, and a few happy tears. After a little over 7 years, we were finally engaged! The best part was being surrounded by our closest friends and family as we celebrated the start of our forever.
