Shuttle

Shuttle from (both) Hotels to Swan Club on the Harbor

September 25, 2021 5:00 pm - 12:45 am

A shuttle to Swan Club will be leaving from the front of each hotel (both the Hoxton in Williamsburg and the Aloft in Long Island City) around 5:00pm due to potential traffic. Please arrive out front prior to that. We will have more detailed instructions closer to the day of, and the front desk of each hotel will be able to direct you as well. Please feel free to bring drinks. The shuttles do have restrooms. A return shuttle back to each hotel will leave Swan Club around 12:45am (15 minutes past the close of the reception). There will be clear announcements and directions at the end of the reception on when and where to board. ALSO, not only will we as newlyweds be joining, but the afterparty will start on the shuttle back to Brooklyn, so we highly encourage you to ride back with us ;) *If you are not staying at the hotels, PLEASE feel free to still use the transportation to and from Swan Club as well. Just be sure to be at one of the hotels by 5:00pm!

Getting Around

Both hotels are located nearby convenient subway stops if this is your preferred method of transportation for getting around. Uber and Lyft are both abundant in these neighborhoods as well. If you should decide to bring your own car, or to get a rental car, parking garages nearby the hotels are available for a fee. Street parking is available, but more limited. Valet parking at the wedding venue is also available. However, as mentioned, we will be providing transportation for all our guests to and from the ceremony (details provided on this page). For the other wedding weekend activities, these locations will be reasonably walkable from the hotel in Williamsburg, however might require a very short drive from the hotel in LIC (it is walkable, just a bit far!).

Flying into NYC / Getting to Hotels

LGA is the shortest drive from our hotels (less than 20 minutes), although we know many people prefer JFK. Regardless, we suggest making sure you have Lyft or Uber dowloaded and set up on your phone as that is much easier than finding a cab at this point! Harris swears by skiplagged for finding the best flight deals.

We wanted to be sure to offer two hotel options for our guests! This hotel is right outside the neighborhood where we will have both Friday and Sunday activities located in. This hotel is in the same neighborhood where we live and have established our life together thus far! It is nearby where we will be having our Friday night welcome activities, as well as our Sunday brunch. Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue (details above).
