Flight
Chattanooga has a small airport (CHA) with connecting flights through most major hubs. For our friends in D.C., there's one daily nonstop flight from DCA to CHA. Flying into Atlanta (ATL) or Nashville (BNA) are also convenient options. Both are about a 2-hour drive from Chattanooga and offer plenty of direct flights and easy rental car access. Knoxville (TYS) is another smaller airport to consider, also about 2 hours away. We flew into Atlanta and rented a car recently, and the drive to Chattanooga was easy, aside from a little Atlanta traffic.
Travel Note
There are lots of Airbnb options nearby if you’re traveling with a group or looking for something different from the hotel room block. The Venue Chattanooga (4119 Cummings Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37419) is about 10–15 minutes from downtown, where we have a room hotel block.
