FAQs

Please feel free to reach out directly to Hailey or Jake with any additional questions that may not have been answered below!
Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We love your little ones - we really do! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage our friends and family with kiddos to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Can I Bring a +1?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you've received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section of the website.

Question

Is There a Dress Code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable but do ask that you dress up a bit - think dressy casual attire! For men, this means a button-down or collared shirt with dress pants or khakis - jackets and ties optional. For the ladies, this means a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates. Both the ceremony and reception will be held on the lawn so wedge or thicker-heeled shoes are recommended. If you're unsure, its always best to be slightly overdressed than underdressed! Wear whatever color you would like - outside of white of course. *Please note the bridesmaids will be wearing a blushing pink and the groomsmen will be in khaki-colored suits*

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving to the venue between 3 and 3:30pm, as the ceremony will promptly start at 4pm.

Question

Is The Venue Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

Outdoor! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held outdoors, however both the cocktail hour and reception will be covered by a tent or building overhang.

Question

Can I Leave my Vehicle Overnight at The Venue?

Answer

Yes, overnight parking is allowed! We want to ensure everyone gets home safely and do NOT condone drinking and driving. Guests can leave their vehicles overnight and pick them up the following day. The venue does ask that all vehicles left overnight be picked up no later than 11am the following day - Sunday, May 24th. Please be aware that our venue is in a rural area. There is a very limited amount of Ubers and/or Lyfts in the area - please plan accordingly.

Question

What Should I Do If I Can't Make It?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know by RSVPing "no" so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "yes" but plans have changed and you are no longer able to attend, then we ask you reach out to either the bride or groom as soon as possible!

Question

What If I Don't RSVP in Time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by April 25, 2026 (as reflected on your invite), you will automatically be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. *This will mean you are not allowed to show up on our wedding day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.*

Question

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony - no phones or cameras. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I Do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like - and share with us too!

Question

Can I Bring My Own Adult Beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying the alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and state regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.

Question

Will There Be A Smoking Area?

Answer

Yes! For our friends and family that choose to smoke, there will be a designated smoking area on the property. We understand that laws and regulations have changed, however due to personal preference of the bride and groom we ask there be no smoking of marijuana on the premises.
