Should I RSVP online?

If you know you are unable to attend the wedding, kindly please RSVP online at this time. Otherwise, you do not need to RSVP online, and you will be able to RSVP via our mailed Wedding Invitations (separate from our mailed Save The Dates).

What if only one of us can make it to the wedding?
Answer
While we will miss whoever cannot make it, we understand that life is busy! You can RSVP online at this time, and each guest within your party will have the option to select "Will Attend" or "Will Not Attend."

What is the weather like in Newport this time of year?
Answer
August is usually around 78 degrees. We will be outside for the welcome party, inside for the ceremony, and outside (tented) for the reception. The reception is near the water, so there will hopefully be a nice breeze. I always suggest bringing a shawl in the evenings, in case the temperatures drop.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Friday: Cocktail Attire (tie optional) Heels are not allowed at The International Tennis Hall of Fame on Friday evening, so we suggest wedges, block heels, or flats! Saturday: Summer Formal “A blend between cocktail attire and formal” Ladies: summer chic midi to maxi length dresses Gentlemen: suit and tie or blazer, khakis, and tie We strongly encourage ladies to wear closed toe wedges, block heels, or flats on Saturday, as the reception will be on grass. Sunday: Casual Chic

How do we get to The Welcome Party on Friday night?
Answer
The Tennis Hall of Fame is a five minute walk from Hotel Viking, a ten minute walk from The Hammett’s Hotel, and a five minute drive from The Wyndham. There will be valet parking available and uber is also a great way to get around (please be aware that summer months are very busy in Newport, so it’s best to leave some extra time if ordering a car).
