The two of us were in high school when Trey came to pick me up in his old white Ford to go mudding in the creek behind his house. Fancy truck. Impressive four-wheeler. What more could a girl want? Years passed and our paths went in different directions. After graduating college, I became a wedding photographer, frequently photographing weddings in the area Trey lived. He was a groomsman in 5 weddings I shot in one year. 5. Every wedding, he would ask me to dance or ask me on a date. I would always reply, "I'm working." I ended up buying land and moving back to town. After hiring Trey to build the entrance to my ranch, I knew he still had a crush and I was starting to share the same feelings. Another wedding goes by and Trey BRINGS A DATE this time!! The audacity! I confronted him immediately and we went to dinner the next day. He bought me a steak and we went to the river. It was like hanging out with your best friend. We've been inseparable ever since.
In 2020, Heather decided to "work from home" in Wyoming. On her trip, she found the coolest hiking spot to eat lunch. It was a boat ramp for kayaks that had the perfect view of two combining lakes and no people around. In 2022, on a family trip to Wyoming, Heather took Trey, Tami, and Todd to her discovered spot. A year later after arriving in Jackson to shoot a wedding, Trey insisted they take their friends, Ben and Morgan, to that same spot. Once they reached it, he got down on one knee. Best. Hike. Ever. We're so excited to celebrate our biggest adventure yet! See you in Jackson Hole!
