It all began in May 2023, when we both swiped right on Hinge, not knowing just how much that small decision would change our lives forever. We started talking right away, but before we could meet in person Lauren had left for a cruise to Alaska. During that time, our conversations grew deeper and the excitement of finally meeting only grew stronger. We planned our first date and what was supposed to be a simple movie date watching The Little Mermaid quickly turned into something so much more. We were having such a great time that we didn’t want the night to end—so we went out for dinner and ice cream, creating memories we’ll never forget. From there, we chose to grow our friendship first, building a strong foundation before taking the next step. That time together only made us closer and more certain about the love we had found in each other. On September 12, 2024, we made it official and started our journey as a couple. From that day forward, every adventure, big or small, only confirmed that we were meant for each other. On June 13, 2025, Brandell got down on one knee in Long Beach, California. With the waves crashing behind us and the sun setting in front of us, Lauren’s family and best friend was there to witness the beautiful moment. Surrounded by love, Lauren said “yes” to forever. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter—marriage—and continue building a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure together.
