Welcome to our beginning!

We started talking online (sounds cheesy, I know), and decided as friends that we should have dinner. We hung out, and I don't remember a moment we weren't laughing that night. Endless conversation, reliving old times from our childhood, and just enjoying every moment! Weeks later, he asked me out, and ever since then, it's been your sweet little "old school relationship" that we both have prayed/wished for!

As many know, there's been constant miles in-between Dylan and I in our relationship. Beginning of last year, Dylan chose to join the Army. From January - July, we spent every day we could together; from lake days, to fishing, stargazing, to many late night fires. As we knew, those days would be cut off sooner than we thought. Come mid-July he was sent to Georgia for basic training. Letters and very short occasional phone calls were our only way of communication, from July - December. But, as we prayed, our relationship grew even stronger in those hard times apart. When he came home for Christmas, it was like nothing had changed. We picked up right where we left off, and got right back to our wild adventures, and late night binge watching of Duck Dynasty reruns! And then of course a goodbye was in place again.. But, since February we've been together every weekend, making the most of our few days together, and out of every nightly FaceTime call! I never dreamed of finding "The Near Perfect Guy", but Dylan is proof he exists. It's been a wonderful ride this far, and I am so excited to see what God has in store for our future!
