We’re getting married!!!

As most modern-day romances bloom, we met on Tinder first in December of 2023. We both started talking a bit, but it fizzled out. Now this next part might sound desperate on both our parts, but we matched on Facebook Dating in June of 2024. It started with getting to know each other, and then (again, desperate) talking on Snapchat. We would call each other for two weeks straight, asking all of the personal and 5th-grade questions, such as "what's your favorite color, and "what is your favorite drink?" It wasn't until Joseph showed up at the Target where Briana was working at the time that they first met in person. Briana was working at the check lanes, and Joseph came up and dumped ping pong balls all over the conveyor belt. (I still don't know why I asked him to go out after this. -Bri) The next day, we went on our first date, which consisted of a visit to Dutch Bros, walking around Downtown Castle Rock, and seeing the new Despicable Me movie. The summer of 2024 consisted of us going on dates, talking more, and finally Joseph asking Briana to be his girlfriend on August 20th, 2024. Briana attended college at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, while Joseph was stationed at Fort Carson serving in the Army. We both were doing long-distance, which was not fun. Joseph would come up to Wyoming, and Briana would go down to Colorado for weekend visits. We both were becoming best friends and each other's loves. Time was flying by, and before we knew it, we jumped the gun and got eloped. On June 27th, 2025, Briana and Joseph tied the knot at the El Paso County marriage office (very romantic, we know). Since that day, we have been joined at the hip, moved into a house, been through a deployment, and have three crazy dogs together. We are excited to share the love that we have for one another in front of friends, family, and most importantly, God. *We would get attitude from one of our dogs if we didn't mention them all. The first puppy we got is Banqs (Banquet), from the Humane Society. We do not know what he is, but he was labeled as a German Shepard and Siberian Husky mix, which he is not. The next dog we got is Crooks, who is a Pit Bull, and the biggest baby of them all. We got him from a former Sargent of Joseph's. The last puppy we got is Bella, a Belgian Malinois whom Briana picked up from Denver when Joseph was deployed. They are all best friends who love the dog park, going on walks, and most importantly, tearing up new toys that come into the home.
