Question

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony/reception?

Answer

In order to ensure we are all fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phones and do NOT take photos during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment and would hate for any moment to be missed or compromised during the ceremony. During the reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!

Can I bring a date?

Unless specified on your invitation or displayed in your RSVP selections through Zola, we kindly ask that you not bring an additional guest. We are excited for you to join us in celebration!

Unless discussed previously with us or specified on your invitation or in your RSVP selections through Zola, we ask that you please enjoy an evening with us kid-free!

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We will provide beer and wine for a limited time during the reception, with an option for guests to partake in a cash bar only for liquor. After the time we are covering beer and wine has expired, we will move to a full cash bar for any alcoholic drinks for the rest of the evening. There will also be non-alcoholic drink options available.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM CST. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before to ensure everyone is seated in plenty of time!

Where do I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, there are two parking lots available closest to the sanctuary. They are both located on Woodlawn Drive and are no more than a couple blocks from the main entrance. For the reception, The Capital Hotel offers secured valet parking. You are also more than welcome to find a spot nearby downtown!

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire is preferred!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While our reception will be at The Capital Hotel, there are also other hotels in the area within walking distance to the reception. We also recommend booking sooner rather than later -- it's our understanding that our wedding will be close to the Solar Eclipse, and Little Rock is a hot spot for viewing.
