Question

Are plus-ones or children allowed?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests whose names are listed on the invitation. Please confirm the guests in your party using the RSVP tab on our wedding website. Unfortunately, we are unable to include additional guests, including plus-ones or children.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Phase Events offers a large on-site parking lot that is complimentary for our Friday Wedding events. The Hotel at Avalon provides both self-parking and valet options. Self-parking in the garage is $22, and valet parking is $32. Additional complimentary parking may be available throughout the Avalon area on a first-come, first-served basis; however, availability can be limited as the Avalon is typically very busy on weekends.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding events will take place indoors, with the exception of the Baraat, which will be held outdoors prior to the wedding ceremony.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s) for the wedding and/or prewedding events?

Answer

While we will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend, we hope the convenience of our venues makes travel easy. Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the hotel where our room block is reserved and where many of our guests will be staying, so no additional transportation will be required. Our Friday pre-wedding events will be approximately 0.5 miles from the hotel, and we kindly suggest driving, as complimentary parking is available, or using Uber or Lyft.

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?

Answer

If you are unable to reserve a room within our hotel block, please reach out to the bride or groom in advance. We may be able to contact the hotel to request additional rooms within our wedding block, as availability allows.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

June is typically warm and summery here in Atlanta. Daytime temperatures usually range from the mid-80s to low-90s, with higher humidity. Evenings tend to be warm and comfortable, generally in the mid-70s. While most days are sunny, showers are possible, so we recommend checking the forecast closer to the date

Where can I purchase Indian attire for the wedding events?

We’ve received several questions about attire for our celebration! While traditional Indian clothing is not required, we would absolutely love for guests to embrace the culture and wear Indian attire if they’d like to.
