Hubby & Wifey
We are SO excited to celebrate the blessing of our union with you! God has been faithful to us throughout our journey together, and what an honor it is the celebrate His hand in our lives, with family and friends who know and love us. In case you didn't know... we LOVE cruising (okay, Shaleta loves cruising and Harold goes along, lol). This will be our third Virgin cruise and we are sure that you will enjoy this experience with us. No kids, great food, cool activities- it's a vibe! We appreciate you making the necessary sacrifices to celebrate with us and we promise to do our best to make it worth your while ;-) We can't wait to sail with you! -Harold & Shaleta Jackson
Travel Agent
My name is Kerri, and I’ve spent over a decade in the travel industry, with a brief pause when the world stopped traveling and I met Shaleta at my new job. I’m passionate about exploring new destinations, experiencing local traditions, discovering new cuisines, and learning how different cultures celebrate life. Cruising is my favorite way to travel because it allows you to see multiple places while always knowing where you’ll sleep, never having to unpack, and having the chance to meet wonderful new people along the way. Jamaica is my favorite Caribbean island so far—the people and food are incredible—and I’ve also traveled to Mexico’s Riviera Maya several times and absolutely love it. I’m excited to help Shaleta and Harold plan their beautiful vow renewal surrounded by family and friends. Please reach out if you have any questions. Daughter & Bride's Attendant
Hi, I'm Amaya! Since the bride is my Mom, I've known her my whole life, LOL. My favorite memory of us is when Mommy and Popz came to UC for Family Weekend. They are GREAT parents; they always genuinely support me and take time to pour into me. I am so grateful and proud to be their daughter. I am super excited about this celebration and I have accepted the task of assisting with planning. To keep my Mom from getting overwhelmed, please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the schedule and/or ceremony details.
Daughter & Bridesmate
Hi, I'm Portia! I've know the groom for a lifetime... he's my Dad, LOL! I've know Shaleta for many years now and one of my favorite things about her is how she effortlessly creates fun and connection. We have the best game nights! She's so good at pulling everyone in, and her laugh is truly contagious. It’s the kind of laugh that takes over the room and instantly puts everyone in a good mood. My favorite memories include us playing games, laughing way too hard, and just enjoying the moment. I’m grateful for the love, laughter, and fun we have and I appreciate my parents for all they do. I'm excited to celebrate! Love you guys!

My name is Deidra Hightower, proudly known as Shaleta’s favorite niece ;-). I’m only a year and a few days younger than she is, which means I’ve essentially known her my entire life. From childhood to now, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow, love deeply, and build a truly beautiful life. I’m honored and excited to stand beside her as she marries her best friend all over again. Advice for the Bride and Groom: Pray together, laugh often, and enjoy this season where the house is quiet and the “fellowship” is uninterrupted.

Hi, I’m Quinetta Latham. Most people call me "Queen", but Shaleta has always affectionately called me "Queenie". I am a fireball of energy, and excitement and I bring a whole lot of emPOWERment everywhere I go!! Shaleta and I met over ten years ago through our sons, Tre and Jaylen, and our bond has truly evolved with time. From Lexington to CA, Kentucky to Tennessee, and Louisiana, we have traveled round the world and back again *insert Golden Girls theme song here*... and our friendship has never, NEVER, missed a beat. I am thankful to share life with my beautiful friend and brother in love, Harold, who are loving, supportive, and inspiring. My advice to them is to stay intentional about honoring each other’s dreams, and desires and never stop growing together. Now let the countdown to the TURN UP BEGIN!!! AYYEEE!! D.J. TURN ME UP!!

Hi, I'm Tashana. I am a loving person who enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and creating memories. Shaleta and I are Sister/Friends that have known each other for over 20 years. Whenever we are together, fun is being had, great memories are being made, and coffee or something sweet will definitely be on our agenda! A word of advice to the couple: Remember, in marriage- the best way to get the last word is to apologize.
Son & Bride's Escort
Yooo! I'm Jaylen, the greatest thing that ever happened to Mother since she received her salvation, LOL. My interests are God/religion, music, dance, sports, and comedy. Like my Mom, I love to cruise. My favorite memory would probably be when my parents took us to San Francisco and we went on a tour of the arena and locker room for the Golden State Warriors. Since Grandaddy will be celebrating from heaven, I am honored to take his place and escort my Mom down the aisle for the ceremony. Love you all....let's party!

My friendship with Harold began more than two decades ago, growing through years of shared adventures into a lifelong brotherhood. It is an absolute honor to join this milestone celebration at sea and witness ten years of their incredible love and commitment. Advice for the couple: Dont go to bed angry and always address the elephant in the room.

The year was 2015… Easter was approaching… and at Total Grace Church, we were rehearsing the whooping on of Jesus. We’d been attending a few months, and I’d gotten to know a handful of the church brethren. During this rehearsal, in walks some guy dressed head to toe in Ralph Lauren Polo. Dude was energetic, stylish, personable, and helpful. I said, yep, we are of the same tribe! For the next decade, we’d connect our families, support each other as we would triumph, trip, and try again… we’d advise and encourage one another from afar… we’d go months without talking, then connect and pick up like we never left. In sum, we’ve sharpened iron with one another, and I’m grateful for our very value-adding bond. Love ya, Homie! 🫡 My advice for the couple is: Don’t go to bed angry… either argue all night in your pajamas or start shedding articles of clothing when your spouse says something silly or inaccurate. Either the first one naked wins or you just can’t argue naked. 🤷🏿♂️

I met Harold through our wives being friends. They reconnected and then we all started to hang out as couples and became close. It's been over 5 years! My Advice: Ten years together and you still said, “Yes”— That alone deserves a standing ovation 👏😂
