Morgan met Grace during their first year at the Bush School, where they both relied on one another to help alleviate the suffering associated with graduate school (mostly with wine and hot cheetos). Grace is a kind, and loving servant-hearted angel with a passion for international development, and is currently serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala. She radiates light and positivity, and exudes a joyful presence in front of everyone she meets. Morgan is beyond grateful for Grace's unconditional support and love.
Janna Nakayama

Janna and Morgan met in high school, during Janna's senior and Morgan's junior year. Brought together by the school's athletic training team, they were instant besties after surviving an intense and messy shaving cream fight. Janna is all things kind, and patient, and her unwavering faith inspires Morgan to find that same level of steadfastness in all aspects of her life. Janna molds young minds as an 8th grade reading teacher, and we should all hope that our children are lucky enough to have an educator and role model in their lives like Janna!

Katy and Morgan met through a summer internship program that brought them together for an unforgettable, and memorable summer in Washington D.C. After a summer of weekly Flavio happy hours, pool time sundays, and endless political rants and debates, Katy and Morgan found more in one another than simply a friend from the summer, but a best friend for life. Morgan admires Katy's fearlessness, and determination, and wishes everyday that D.C. were just a little bit closer to Texas.

Morgan met Emily in the 6th grade at Bradley Middle School, where they suffered through middle school gym class together. Both Emily and Morgan thought it would be impossible to find another human with the exact same eclectic taste in music and movies, but yet here they are... quite possibly the only two people in the world who can jam out to both Nickel Creek and a wide array of the classics, while simultaneously keeping up with all the latest up and coming artists. Morgan adores Emily's heart of gold, and her ability to put a smile on any face she meets.

Morgan met Elena on the first day of 6th grade at Bradley Middle School, and is so grateful that Elena invited her to join her group of friends for lunch. Elena and Morgan eventually went on to host their own middle school talk show called Peaches and Cream, with appearances by various celebrity guests such as Tina Turner. Unfortunately, the demands of 8th grade math class resulted in the show being cancelled, but the two still dream of their big break on late night television. From pep squad to PALS, Elena has provided a steady source of support and comfort to Morgan for many years, and Morgan is genuinely grateful to have a friend like Elena in her life.

Julia and Morgan met at the airport in Dallas, Texas, both bound for a summer internship in Washington, DC. It only took a few days for Morgan to realize that Julia would be more than just a roommate, but a friend for life. Morgan is convinced that there isn't a person alive who knows more about horror movies than Julia (TRY and find someone, I dare you). In addition to her horror movie expertise, Julia is a fierce advocate for the marginalized, and those whose voices are ignored. Morgan admires Julia's confidence, and determination to stay true to her authentic self.

Ileana and Morgan have known each other since middle school, when Ileana appeared as Tina Turner in Morgan and Elena's late night talk show "Peaches and Cream". Little did they both know then that in college they would become roommates, and share countless unforgettable memories. Morgan misses the many Saturday nights they spent together with blue margaritas, pickles, and a good game of onzi or Mario cart. Morgan admires Ileana's contagious smile and laugh, and wishes that she had even just an ounce of Ileana's style and fashion sense.

HJ and his older sister Morgan are very close. Her boys Tripp and Tanner might actually be HJ’s closest friends. This sibling duo will move mountains to support each other and attend birthdays, graduations, and all other special occasions. Morgan is an AMAZING sister and even better mother to her children. Her dedication and perseverance is admirable. HJ couldn’t imagine his wedding without his sister up there next to him!

HJ and Matt’s friendship started their junior year of high school. Even though college split the pair up they stayed connected through fantasy football and the latest NBA trade rumors. Their friendship has grown over time as they have endured life’s hardships. Time and distance create no boundaries for this friendship as HJ and Matt move through life milestones. Matt is a true friend and HJ is honored to have him as a best man!

HJ and Nick graduated from A&M together. They both earned aerospace engineering degrees, which certainly took some good friends. From early mornings in the library preparing for exams to late nights at North Gate, Nick and HJ’s friendship transformed from class mates to life long friends!

Steven is HJ’s younger cousin. From a young age, they could be found together scheming their next prank. As the years have passed, their relationship has matured... kind of! HJ can always count on Steven for a good time and laugh. HJ can also count on Steven to be there for him through life’s ups and downs!

Although Brian and HJ’s friendship has only recently formed, they are close friends. Brian is a close family friend and his kids and HJ’s nephews are best friends. Brian and HJ will go from playing wiffle ball with the kids to catching up until the wee hours of the night with a Coors light in one hand and a 6-string in the other!

Even though Chad and HJ went to high school together, their friendship really began at A&M as room mates. The bride and groom lived with Chad, his fiancé Ileana (also a bridesmaid) and their puppies Lacy and LuLu. Chad and HJ’s friendship blossomed in that time period from good friends to real friends!

Jake is the brides younger brother. HJ and Jake have grown closer over the years. As a younger brother, HJ recognizes the defensive role of a brother. The groom is proud to have won Jake over and get his blessing. HJ and Jake have many similar interests from music to sports. HJ is honored to be gaining a brother!
