FAQs

Please email Judy & Haro at harojudywedding@gmail.com with any questions.
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Of course! But we also understand if you prefer to get a break and keep them at home.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your Paperless Post Save the Date invitation included any guest(s), then yes. If not, we prefer that it was just you.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP via your Paperless Post Save the Date invitation by Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Question

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We are requesting all guests to be vaccinated and boosted (if possible) before attending our wedding. In addition, all guests should obtain a negative COVID rapid test or PCR test 1-2 days before attending the wedding. In order to take more COVID precautions, we're keeping the guest list on the smaller side, and all of our wedding events will be in outdoor settings.

Question

What's the weather like in March?

Answer

The average temperature of Santa Monica Beach in March is around 66F-70F. It very rarely rains, though we have a backup plan if it does!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - if you're coming to the ceremony, it's on the sand so bring your beachy shoes and sun protection!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are honored by our guests' presence at our wedding and are not requesting any gifts. However, if you're itching to give us a gift, please contribute to our honeymoon fund under "Registry" on this website - we hope to safely travel somewhere fabulous in 2022!

Question

How do I get to the wedding ceremony site on Santa Monica Beach?

Answer

We recommend the 90-minute free parking at the Santa Monica Beach Parking Lot if you're driving in (this is also the easiest way to walk to the ceremony site on the beach). We will email everyone specific instructions for how to access the ceremony site if you're walking from the big Santa Monica Pier Arch on Colorado and Ocean Avenues.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please meet at the North Entrance of the Santa Monica Pier at 11:30 a.m. We will walk toward the water and start the ceremony around 11:35 a.m.

Question

What do I do with the bubble blower wand in my goodie bag?

Answer

Please take out your wands and blow bubbles when Judy & Haro kiss at the end of the ceremony!

Question

Will there be transportation from Santa Monica Beach/Pier to Nueva for lunch?

Answer

Unfortunately, we're not able to find a van that transports guests from the beach to Nueva. Luckily, there are lots of Lyfts and Ubers available by the Pier. If you parked your car at the beach, you can also drive about 25 minutes south to Nueva, which has valet parking ($12). There may also be some street parking available nearby.

Question

Where are we sitting at Nueva?

Answer

We have reserved an outdoor patio space with umbrellas at each table. Please visit the restaurant's website for photos and more information: https://nuevavenice.com/

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let the staff at Nueva know about any food allergies.
