Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Semi-formal dress code is suggested, and the Church hosting the ceremony asks that guests dress modestly with garments that are not see-through or too tight-fitting and that cover the shoulders, chest, and knees out of respect for the sacredness of the place. Veils for women are welcome but not required.

Question

Do I need to know Latin to understand what’s going on?

Answer

No knowledge of Latin is required! The wedding ceremony itself with the exchanges of vows and rings will be conducted in English. The following Mass will be in Latin excepting the sermon, but you are equally welcome to follow the English translation of the prayers and scripture readings in the provided blue or red books, or rest in a meditative silence.

Question

Reception Details?

Answer

The reception will follow in the same building as the ceremony, in the glass-doored parish hall just across from the sanctuary. There will be appetizers followed by a buffet lunch and cake.
