What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony because of limited seating within the church sanctuary. We want to ensure optimal seating for our guests!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No, there is no dress code. We want everyone to be comfortable! Please keep in mind the ceremony will be in the church, so we ask you to dress accordingly.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying at Wild Eagle Lodge, which is less than a mile down the road from the reception venue, the Rose Residence. We have a room block set up under Rose-Marien Wedding with a discounted rate for all of our out-of-town guests. It is located on Duck Lake and offers many amenities that ensure a cozy and comfortable stay in our hometown!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the church, where the ceremony will be held. Street parking is also available. Since the reception will be held at the Rose Residence, there is very limited parking. We ask our guests to either carpool or take the shuttle (available to and from Wild Eagle Lodge and the Rose Residence). The shuttle be running frequently back and forth throughout the evening.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

There will be a shuttle running frequently throughout the evening to and from Wild Eagle Lodge and the Rose Residence, where the reception will be held. We encourage guests to take the shuttle, if possible, due to limited parking at the Rose Residence. It is about a 3-minute shuttle ride from parking lot to parking lot.
