Our First Date
Harley asked Skylar to be his date to his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, barn formal. Fun fact: Skylar originally had other plans that night, but she really wanted to attend this with Harley instead!
January 28th, 2020
Made it Official!
While sitting in his freezing cold Nissan Murano waiting for it to heat up after a movie date, Harley officially asked Skylar to be his girlfriend.
2021 - 2022
The year of long-distance
After Harley's graduation from the University of Nebraska in May 2021, he moved to Chicago to start his first full-time job while Skylar remained in Lincoln to finish out her last year of school. While this year of long distance isn't something Harley or Skylar wants to repeat again, it proved the strength of their relationship and taught them to never take the other's company for granted!

Moved in Together
After Skylar's graduation from the University of Nebraska (and fresh off a trip to Hawaii), Skylar and Harley officially ended their long distance chapter when Skylar moved to Chicago and into their first Wrigleyville apartment.
September 9th, 2023
Expanding the Family
After months of wearing Harley down, Skylar finally convinced him to adopt a puppy! They adopted a three-month-old mutt from PAWS Chicago named Finn, and have been in love with him ever since.
September 3rd, 2024
Harley popped the question!
On day two of a ten-day Greek vacation, Harley proposed to Skylar in front of a beautiful sunset in Santorini. They spent the rest of their vacation celebrating with plenty of Greek wine and gyros!
