Are children allowed at the reception?

In order to allow all guests to relax and enjoy the evening, we respectfully request that our reception be attended by adults only.

Black Tie Attire The evening calls for timeless elegance — tuxedos, or black suits and black ties for men and formal cocktail dresses, or floor-length gowns for women. If you are having trouble, please free to reach out to the bride @ 828.551.4105.

No. We do not have a formal hotel block, however, you can find a list of available resort properties & Airbnb's on the travel section of this website.

The ceremony will start at 4 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

The food will be served buffet style, meaning you can pick & choose what you would like to have for dinner, however, if you have a dietary concern, please reach out to the bride via text @ 828.551.4105.

Is there transportation to and from lodging to the ceremony?

Answer

While we won't be providing a formal shuttle service, the resort is easy to navigate! For those staying on-site who want to zip around in style, golf cart rentals are available directly through the resort by calling the pro shop at 828.694.3042 or via Lake Lure Rentals at 828-436-2851. If you're looking to arrive by water, Lake Lure Adventure Company offers boat rentals for a scenic commute to the festivities. We recommend booking these in advance to ensure availability!
