To my surprise, I was able to pull this whole thing off without her even knowing that it was happening. I was a nervous wreck that whole day wondering if she was ever going to guess! I tricked her into dressing up for a double date and begged her to get her nails done. She always told me "My nails BETTER be done for the engagement." So I did my absolute best to force her to go. After MANY failed attempts, she got them done. I knew then she had no idea it was coming! We headed down to Edmond, she fell asleep (of course) and she woke up to a panicked phone call from Bree saying we booked the reservations for the wrong day. Then we ended up at E. C. Hafer Park where our family had set everything up. We walked up to the table and I got down on a knee and asked her to marry me. If you ask her, I was on my knee for .3 Seconds...But it felt like an eternity to me! She said YES and all of her family and friends cheered and she was shocked to see them all. - B
