We met during grade school at Xavier Charter School in Twin Falls, ID. The day that I saw AC pick up a shotgun while at the weekly practice for the trap team, I knew that he was the only man for me. My High School crush blossomed as we began to spend more time together. Our first date was a trip to the movies to see Wonder Woman on June 2nd, 2017. On the last day of our Junior year of High School, AC officially asked me to be his girlfriend and we have spent the last 5 years together since.
On November 28th, 2020, there was a plan for family pictures to be taken at Niagara Springs State Park near Hagerman Idaho. My unsuspecting self had the sense that something was on AC's mind as we were taking pictures. We got group pictures done first and, after a quick outfit change, we went on to some couple's photos. AC seemed nervous as I poked at a strange object in his coat pocket while asking him "whatcha got there?" Thinking it was nothing, I continued to enjoy family photos as it was now our time to shine. We stood in between two trees and AC pointed off into the distance and asked "what is that?" Before I could answer, I heard rustling leaves behind me and when I turned around, AC was down on one knee.
