Best at night. Full of street vendors, selling different goods. Different restaurants, where you will mainly find fresh sea food.
Levanzo
Levanzo is a beautiful island, off the coast of Sicily. It makes for a great day trip. With crystal clear water, you can see all kinds of sea creatures from starfish, to sea urchins. The beach is rocky/mountainous, you will have to climb down the rocks to reach the water. The town is small, with only two restaurants and one little shop.
The valley of temples
On the southern side of the island sits the region of Agrigento. There you will find a place called “The valley of temples”. Built by the Greeks, these temples date back to the 5th century. Here you will find the temple of Zeus, Heracles, Juno and other Greek Gods. Tickets are required and this is a self guided tour.
Taormina
Taormina is tourist town in Sicily. The streets are filled with shops and restaurants. Here you will find the world’s tallest and most active volcano, Mount Etna as well as the Greek theater. On the peak of the mountains sits a medieval town called Castelmola, where you can check out the beautiful view and sip almond wine.
