Matron of Honor
Sarah is the bride's sister and matron of honor. After Samantha fulfilled her maid of honor duties in Sarah's wedding in 2022, the roles are now reversed. As "opposite" as they may look.. they talk, sound, and act the exact same. This shocks most people who will meet the other for the first time. Sarah and Samantha have been best friends for their entire lives and lean on each other through the good and the bad, no matter what. Samantha is confident that Sarah will make this whole experience extra special for her big sis.
Giann Moramarco
Best Man
Giann is “Philo’s” Best Man, fellow jiu jitsu black belt, and gym owner. Their friendship began during their freshman year of high school, and jiu jitsu has been the bond that’s kept them close ever since. Giann and Phil share similar values and morals—so much so that some say they’re practically replicas of each other. They’re also both obsessed with the band Pretty Lights.
Michelle Cluney
Bridesmaid
Mich has been Samy's best friend for the last 11+ years. They connected first when Samy would attend house parties at Mich's house while at FSU. A couple years later they both were working as TGI Friday's servers, when they really became inseparable like salt and pepper. They still remember exact table numbers, regulars by name, and dream about the shrimp skillet. Even with Mich moving to Austin, TX they still make annual trips to see each other. They both enjoy Tito's and puzzles.
Dylan Whyte
Groomsman
Dylan is one of “Philly’s” groomsmen, a fellow jiu jitsu black belt, and a gym owner. They met in Tallahassee in 2017 and quickly became close thanks to their shared love of jiu jitsu. Dylan’s playful attitude helps Phil stay grounded and not take life too seriously. He’s also been officially anointed “one-quarter Jewish” by Phil himself.
Tara Nantais
Bridesmaid
Tara has been Samuela's best friend for the last 10+ years. They met while in Tallahassee for school and were quite the party gals. In 2014 they lost a mutual best friend, Julia, which brought them instantly closer. Even with all of the shifts and changes occurring in each of their lives, they've always made an effort to stay connected. If you scrolled through their texts you'll see an insane number of voicememo updates, some a few minutes long, others up to an hour. They have the same silly sense of humor and will stay up all night giggling when they get together.
Christian Yost
Groomsman
Christian is a groomsman, fellow jiu jitsu black belt, and gym owner. He and Phil grew close during Christian’s time in Tallahassee while his wife was finishing PA school at FSU. They trained together daily and bonded over their shared love of video games. Like Dylan, Christian has also been declared one-quarter Jewish by Phil (unofficially, of course).
Jillian Priest
Bridesmaid
Jildan has been Samantha's best friend for the last 14+ years. They knew of each other back home at Winter Park High, but got much closer when Jillian moved up to Tallahassee in 2011. They were roommates at Seminole Grand, which was mutually the worst apartment they'd ever lived in, but still to this day some of the best memories ever. Jillian forced Samantha to take a free Orangetheory class in July 2019 and introduced her to Coach Phil. Samantha got instantly hooked not only on OTF, but also on Coach Phil.
Matt Garrigan
Groomsman
Matt is one of “Flip’s” groomsmen. Their friendship started at Premier Health and Fitness Center in 2015, where Matt was technically one of Phil’s “supervisors” (emphasis on technically). Their shared love for lifting weights, sports, and golf has kept them tight ever since. Matt, a local law enforcement officer, proudly holds the title of worst driver in the friend group.
Danielle Filippelli
Bridesmaid
Dani has been in Samantha's life since she started dating Philip in 2020. The first time they met was at Philip's townhome during COVID. Since then they've attended family events, Bonnaroo, and other travels including Switzerland where Dani was studying abroad. Dani puppy sat Bentley when he was a tiny boy around 9 weeks and throughout the first year+ of his life before she graduated and moved down south. Samantha always has a great time with Dani and is ecstatic to have her as a sister in law.
Josh Brown
Groomsman
Josh—aka “Yosh”—is Phil’s groomsman. They met at Premier Health and Fitness Center in 2015 while Josh was working sales at the front desk. Their bond grew through their mutual love of Irish poker, sports, and golf. Josh is the honorary “old man” of the group and allegedly once shot a 63 at Capital City Country Club (jury’s still out on that one).
