A pooja for close family members to kick off the wedding festivities!
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Dress suggestion: Indian ethnic attire
"Simant" in Sanskrit means "boundary." Traditionally held at the village edge to welcome the groom, our Simant Pooja is now being held at Dhepe Wada - but the symbolism of the bride’s family welcoming the groom remains unchanged.
7:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Our mehendi will be filled with dance, music, and of course, mehendi for everyone! It will be a fairly chilled night, at a place near Dhepe Wada which we would love all of you to come to.
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Dress Suggestion: Traditionally, yellow is worn by guests for the Haldi
The Haldi is a ritual where friends and family apply turmeric paste to the bride and groom. It’s believed that applying haldi will purify the body and soul as well as giving a glow before the wedding.

Please come ready to sing, dance, and enjoy plenty of delicious food at our Sangeet. There will also be some (hopefully) special dance performances to watch throughout the evening.
