We eloped... on July 2, 2021!

We met at the wedding of two of our close friends in Baltimore, MD back in December 2015. Lou was high kicking on the dance floor, and Jessica was a highly-visible bridesmaid... Our long-distance love story was a whirlwind. In July 2019, Jessica made the big move from NYC to ATX, and we have been happily living together since. In August 2020, we got engaged on the beautiful Lake Peak in Santa Fe National Forest. We have since moved into the new home that we designed together in Austin and became a family of 3 after adopting our lovable fur baby, Canyon.

We hosted a small, private family gathering in a socially-distanced setting in our home in ATX. Both the Marchetti and Hargest immediate families attended in full, and we spent the weekend eating delicious food, swimming in the backyard pool and getting to know one another. It was perfect! A few days later, we hopped a flight to the Costalegre region of Jalisco, Mexico and tied the knot, just the two of us, an officiant & witness, on a secluded private beach.
