Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5 o'clock in the evening, please arrive no later than 4:50pm or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes, kids are invited but due to limited space we could not invite all. If your kids are invited they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We encourage all guests to follow our dress code which is formal/ cocktail attire. We have a separate tab above for more information. (Please no jeans)

Can I wear a costume?

Answer

No, we understand that our wedding is on halloween but we are not participating in a halloween themed wedding. Thank you for understanding!

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we understand! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Check out the "hotel block" tab on this site for more information. If you choose to not stay at the hotel we chose, there are many different options around the area. (Once we have it finalized with the hotel the tab will show up at the top)

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, seltzers, wine, cocktails, and non- alcoholic beverages are on us.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation provided! The shuttle will make trips back and forth from The West Des Moines Marriott to our venue. Please use this to your convenience and don't drink and drive!

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

No. We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.

Will the Wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside depending on weather. If weather is bad we will move the ceremony indoors. The reception and cocktail hour will be indoors.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Food accommodations?

Answer

If you need additional food accommodations please reach out to Jenna! We will be having the traditional beef/chicken, sides, salad, and rolls.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes! There is a designated parking lot at our venue that will be reserved for guests. If you need to leave you car overnight that is okay! Just please pick it up by 10am the following day.
