We are inviting both members of every long term couple! Both names should be on the Save the Date and Invitation you receive as the invited guests. Unfortunately capacity limits prevent us from inviting additional guests at this time.
We have so many kids in our lives who we love dearly. However, we will be limiting our ceremony & reception to ages 8+ other than the children in the wedding party. We recognize that finding childcare can be a hardship, so to make it easier on our friends and family with young children, we have hired PLAY.ish LLC, a weddings and events childcare company, to watch over all guests aged 7 and under. In order to conform to the state of Pennsylvania's safe staffing laws, we are required to provide an exact amount of children attending to the company, so please RSVP your children if you plan to use the provided childcare, as you would any other guest.
Please be seated no later than 3:15pm! The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm.
A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate at: The Fairfield by Marriott 1 Woodbine Drive, Hazleton, PA 18202 Please reserve your room by 9/18 and mention the Babcock/Hardy wedding to receive the reserved rate.
Creative formal: suits and long dresses or jumpsuits; fun colors, patterns, sparkles, and fabrics welcome! We will be on grass so please avoid sharp heels. We kindly ask that you avoid the following colors: white, off-white, ivory, cream, alabaster, pearl, and champagne in respect of the bride.
Yes there is parking, and a car will definitely be needed to get to the area for the weekend! However, for the day of, we are also providing a shuttle between the preferred hotel (Fairfield by Marriott in Hazleton) and the venue so guests can celebrate irresponsibly.
Shuttles will leave from the hotel at 2:30pm, 2:45pm, and 3:00pm. Shuttles will depart from the venue to return to the hotel at 10:00pm and 10:15pm.
