Maid of Honor
Alice and Maggie survived years of sibling-hood sharing a room despite their opposite personalities. Favorite memories include exploring National Parks, cross country skiing/face-planting in Wisconsin, and whitewater kayaking on Thanksgiving morning. If you ask Alice her favorite thing about Tyler, she'll say "his explicitness."
Best Man
Marcus and I became close during college at the University of Tulsa. Playing games, pulling pranks, and occasionally doing schoolwork. It is said of friends that iron sharpens iron--well that is certainly true of us, because I was always scheming of ways to try and ambush Marcus. Hiding in trees, behind newspapers, tunneling into a snowdrift. I sharpened Marcus's powers of observation and he sharpened my creativity. During my best man toast at Marcus's wedding, I shot him with a nerf gun; so keep your eyes peeled during his best man toast--you never know what could happen.
Bridesmaid
Shelby and Maggie met as campers in the New Life Ranch Leadership Development program. Even after spending 8 summers together at camp, they knew it wasn't enough so they opted for full-time jobs at NLR. Favorite memories include being swept away by the flooded Buffalo River, road tripping through the Tetons, and taking out the kayaks after a long days work. Shelby's spent time vetting Maggie's suitor over game nights and reunions with college friends.
Groomsman
Allen and I became close during our time together at the University of Tulsa. Playing sports and games, pulling pranks, exchanging stories. Allen and I enjoy so many of the same things--sand volleyball, watching sports and heckling the players and announcers who can't hear us, a rousing game of spades, and cinnamon, to name a few.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Hannah Rose met during freshman year of college. Favorite memories include reading Elisabeth Elliot aloud by the fire, lighting a tent on fire, and salsa dancing in the living room. Hannah Rose was visiting Maggie when she first started going on dates with Tyler and got to watch their relationship blossom over the next several months.
Groomsman
Garrett and I became close during our time at the University of Tulsa. We had lots of fun playing strategy games and disc golf together, and since college, we've gone on great adventures together in New Zealand and Alaska. Garrett is a top shelf friend--and not just because he can reach the top shelf.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Morgan survived grad school and 2 winters in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Favorite memories include 60 cent Wing Night at the Nutty Squirrel, Downton Abbey watch parties, and hours of over the phone heart-to-hearts. Morgan has spent time getting to know the groom when Maggie and Tyler have visited Kansas City and when she's come down to Oklahoma.
Groomsman
Andy and I grew up together and had lots of middle-of-nowhere small town fun fishing, smashing hedgeapples with baseball bats, and celebrating Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor's Porch night. I can count on Andy to not ask unnecessary questions when I propose some hare-brained idea to have some fun.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Julia's friendship took off when they oversaw the capstone leadership development program at New Life Ranch. Favorite memories include late night frozen waffles, Lasik eye surgery respite, and being ordered around by Julia's cat, Louie. Tyler and Julia have a mutual friend who invited them to their wedding in India. They were in a photo together that Tyler used on his dating profile so Maggie saw the Conroy's and 4 other friends in a photo with Tyler, she figured he had to be pretty cool.
Groomsman
Justin and I became close during our time at the University of Tulsa, playing games, pulling pranks, and watching college basketball. He introduced me to new board games and his many, many siblings. Since then, we've gone on adventures together hiking in Colorado and whitewater rafting in West Virginia.
