It all began with a conversation about coffee and, of course, a swipe. One person was just starting her journey on a dating app, while the other was ready to delete them for good. That’s Sarah and Andy. They started chatting about coffee shops and neighborhoods around the Twin Cities. Early on, Andy asked Sarah out on a date, but she was still skeptical about online dating. She asked him to keep the conversation going instead for two whole weeks. To make sure he wasn’t a catfish, she even made him send a selfie with his signature “thumbs-up” pose! When Sarah finallllllly agreed to meet up, Andy took her to the Aster Café. After dinner, they took a long walk around the Stone Arch Bridge, the Guthrie Theater, and Gold Medal Park. Andy will never let Sarah forget that she wore heels and stumbled when they went off-trail. But, he was the perfect gentleman and laughed if off while Sarah insisted she had probably sprained her ankle. Amazingly, she agreed to go on a second date which, as time went on, led to exploring Uptown, moving in together, and turning Andy into a Saint Paulite.. Saint Paulian? From that day forward, his phone contact was saved as "Sarah from Hinge," and now she’s hoping that, after the big day, it’ll change to “Sarah from the Wedding.”
