Why is my invite reception only?

Answer

As much as we would love to have everyone see us get married, we have decided to get married and sealed for eternity in one of our sacred temples in Philadelphia. Only people who have temple recommends are able to enter however we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone at our reception in Abingdon, Maryland. Also due to room size limits we can only invite a certain amount temple recommend holders into the sealing.

Question

Can I wait outside the temple to see the couple after they get sealed?

Answer

Absolutely! We would love to see people afterwards and there are tons of things to do in Philadelphia beforehand. Just keep in mind that the temple is about an hour and a half away from the church building the reception is being held in.

Question

Will there be a ring ceremony?

Answer

Sort of. We will have an informal exchanging of rings and vows.
