Zach and I met on a blind date 2 days before Christmas. I have to say it was the best Christmas present I have ever received. We went to feast BBQ and hit it off from the start. I told him my mini van had a VHS player in it, he couldn’t believe it. We went and watched the whole Mighty Ducks movie in the back of my mini van. So romantic! #QUACKQUACKQUACK

I have volunteered at Camp MARC, a camp for adults with special needs, for the past 15 years. This year Zach came down to see the place that has my whole heart, little did I know what he had up his sleeve. We were at the talent show when all of the sudden he was called on stage. I wondered what they were going to do to him. I thought it would just be a fun way of welcoming him, when all of the sudden I got called on to stage. Freaking out a little and thinking what in the world are they making us do, I turn around and see Connor holding a sign that says, “Will you marry me sunshine?”. I burst into tears and am so thankful someone recorded it because I think I blacked out a little bit. I don’t think Zach could have done it anymore perfect. Such a wonderful place full of love that now has my heart even more.
