Question

What's the point?

Answer

Wedding websites, and even the hype that surrounds weddings in general, can make things look like a fairytale centered around two people who are going to register for adorable dish sets and live happily ever after. We are deeply in love and very humbled and excited to begin our life together (with an adorable dish set… maybe…), but at the end of the day, it’s about giving our lives in service to each other and to the fruit that will be born out of this devoted love. We aren’t spewing all this Jesus-stuff to look cute for Instagram, it’s our life. We’d have nothing without Jesus Christ and those that we have met through His Bride, the Catholic Church. We pray that our wedding - and marriage - can be an invitation for you to enter in and to dwell in the Father’s love.

Question

How can I RSVP for the Mass?

Answer

Simple! Just email happyocampos@gmail.com and let us know if you can make it (or if you'll be tuning in to the livestream).

Question

Will there be a reception?

Answer

We want nothing more than to have a reception for everyone! Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we are reserving the reception for immediate family and close friends. However, if you are able to come to the Nuptial Mass, we are looking forward to seeing you! Otherwise, we will be live-streaming the Mass on this website and on a private YouTube channel.

Question

What's a Catholic Wedding like?

Answer

For guests who may be unfamiliar with what a Catholic wedding Mass entails, the following links can provide you with additional information: Information Regarding a Catholic Wedding Mass: http://www.foryourmarriage.org/rite-for-celebrating-marriage-within-mass/ Instructions for Receiving Communion During the Mass: https://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/the-mass/order-of-mass/liturgy-of-the-eucharist/guidelines-for-the-reception-of-communion

Question

Are kids welcome to the Mass?

Answer

Of course! Jesus Himself said “let the children come to me” (Matthew 19:14). We welcome all the little ones! A church that is bursting with the sound of children is a church that is alive!
