What do I do about parking if I go somewhere downtown?

Answer

Metered Parking in Downtown Grand Rapids is free beginning Fridays around 5:30pm (times may vary on location of meters, so PLEASE read posted signs). Parking is free through Monday around 8am (times may vary on location of meters, so PLEASE read posted signs).

What if I do not see any parking meters?

Please make sure to check the signage! Many of these spots are free for the taking, but just make sure you look at any surrounding signs
