Grand Avenue
Historic Grand Avenue offers everything from the Mississippi River to shops and restaurants. We had many date nights along grand avenue, which is only a block off of the main UST campus!
Bde Maka Ska
Visit 1 of MN's 12,000+ lakes! Across the street from our reception venue, the Beach Club, Bde Maka Ska is part of a chain of Minneapolis lakes. Enjoy the view of the lake as you walk, as well as the restaurants, shops and activities offered around the lake.
University of St. Thomas
Our alma mater! Visit the main St. Paul campus, where you can walk across the quad where Happy and Eric first met. Just a block away from the Mississippi River, one of our favorite walking and running spots.
Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
Our first date spot! Enjoy the outdoor sculptures, including the famous spoon bridge, greenery and walk across the bridge to Loring park for even more gardens.
North Loop
The historic North Loop district is on the edge of Downtown Minneapolis and is full of shops, restaurants and businesses. Whether you're in the area for brunch or a late night happy hour, the North Loop has no shortage of unique, local stops!
Stone Arch Bridge
In addition to overlooking the St. Anthony Falls, the stone arch bridge connects Minneapolis' Mill District and St. Anthony Main neighborhood. The nearby Gold Medal and Mill Ruins parks are also popular destinations just a short walk from the bridge on the west end of the bridge.
Saint Anthony Main
The historic Saint Anthony Main district is developed on the Riverfront and always a fun destination at all times of the day. If you're looking for food, Aster Cafe, Wilde Cafe & Spirits or Alma Cafe are our personal favorites!
