It all started one day at church… and from the very beginning, something just felt different. I was singing a solo in the youth choir, and Perry had been asked (by my dad!) to record it—even though we had never met before. Somewhere between the music starting and my solo, we locked eyes… and neither of us could seem to look away. He forgot about recording, and I forgot all about my nerves—though I may have still cracked mid-song. It wasn’t perfect, but somehow it felt like the start of something meant to be. Afterward, even without exchanging numbers, Perry found a way to reach out. We started as friends, and little by little, that moment turned into something so much more. What began with one glance grew into a love we’re so grateful for—and a story we’ll carry with us forever.
